Montanaro Gallery is pleased to present “Measuring + Collecting,” a major contemporary art group show, organized and curated by Michael Montanaro.

'Measuring & Collecting' pushes the boundaries of mixed aesthetics, juxtaposing fine art, pop-surrealist art, urban art, and low brow, featuring original paintings and mixed media works by Adam DeVarney, Jesse Reno, Andrew Jacob, Caleb Neelon, Randy Noborikawa, Andrew Sloan, Clark Derbes, Joey Mars, Dan and Bart Hopkins, Mikey Welsh, Skr!bner, Jessy Nite... with additional works by Doze Green, Shepard Fairey, Dave Kinsey, Jeff Soto, Phil Frost and more...

Subjectively and stylistically diverse, these works are a measure of each artist’s evolution, demonstrating how common inspiration can produce remarkably distinct results.

This traveling exhibition was on exhibit at Select Design, in Burlington, Vermont from March 12th to April 12th, 2010.

‘Measuring + Collecting’ will be on exhibit at Montanaro Gallery through August 29th, and will be available to view by appointment only (after the opening)!
